From 24 May to 1 June 2013 passed the First All-Russian River Volunteer marathon “Technology of good.” On the boat on the Volga went more than 50 volunteers from all over Russia. Rostov region was represented by graduate faculty of information security, head of volunteer initiatives FIB “Who if not us?” Sergei Datchenko.
Marathon was held to support the development of youth and volunteer initiatives, particularly in the promotion and popularization of blood donation. It focused on lectures and panel discussions, social projects and numerous volunteer action. Volunteers have been active in the mobile vans blood in the cities along the route of the ship, explaining that the blood can not synthesize and therefore subject of blood donation should be given special attention.
Floating “Marathon goodness” moored in Perm, Nizhnekamsk, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Samara, Saratov, Volgograd and Astrakhan. In each of the participating cities to join in the action sports figures: Kostya Tszyu – the absolute world champion in boxing, Nail Yakupov – a two-time world champion in hockey, Ruslan Nigmatullin – three-time winner of the title “Best goalkeeper of Russia,” Adel Sadeq – student-champion of Russia Greco-Roman wrestling, Paul Suhov – European champion in fencing, Elena Slesarenko – Olympic champion and two-time world champion in the high jump, Lev Voronin – football player, winner of the Sydney Olympics in handball and many others.
